This month, Business Support Specialist Heidi Green discusses the benefits of a business coach.
No matter how successful you are in your business, none of us have all the answers. Knowing when to ask for help and who to ask can be challenging itself.
Firstly, take a step back and spend some time thinking about where your business is going instead of rushing around trying to be all things to all men.
Next, start working on your business, not in it. Just an hour a week in the planning process can make all the difference. No matter if you employ people, work in partnership or on your own, being a business owner can be a very lonely place. Who do you have to turn to for reassurance? Can you see the wood for the trees? Are you taking advantage of all the opportunities that you come across and if not why not?
Quite often business owners have the aspiration to achieve great things but lack the confidence to do them, but having a sounding board and maybe someone to be accountable to can make all the difference in taking your business to the next level.
From identifying new markets to turning your attention to the profitable areas in your business, outside support can be just what is required to take you out of a rut and help you achieve those goals. So, go on, do yourself and your business a favour and ask for assistance. After all, we all need that at times.
