High quality Health Point Practice opens in Tadcaster

A new health clinic set up by experienced Osteopaths Ed Burdett and Mariska Wilkins has opened in Tadcaster.

‘Health Point Practice’ launched their services on the 24th April, and are now up and running providing their fantastic Osteopathic care to the people of Tadcaster and surrounding areas. You can find the clinic in Tadcaster Leisure Centre.

Osteopathy is a recognised, registered healthcare system which utilises gentle hands-on treatment, lifestyle advice, and exercise prescription. Osteopaths complete a four year Integrated Masters (M.Ost) degree, becoming experts in Musculoskeletal health.

The pair are trained to diagnose, manage, and treat a variety of problems including back pain, sciatica, neck related headaches, joint pain, arthritic and rheumatic pain, sports injuries, and migraine prevention, in addition to general aches and pains. Osteopaths are also trained to screen for a range of non-musculoskeletal health conditions. Both Osteopaths have completed additional training in Osteopathic treatment during pregnancy.

Mariska and Ed are excited about bringing their services to Tadcaster and being able to work within the local community. The clinic offers a discount for NHS and Emergency Service staff as a thank you.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday, with evening appointments available.
