Calling all running fanatics…The 10 mile running event is now open to enter again, with this year’s 25th anniversary being a special one.
This year’s event is a special one as its the 25th time the event has been run. Last year’s race was a sell out for the first time – so organisers have increased the number of places again for this years event.
The route will closely follow the original route, doing a loop around Tadcaster centre before heading out East, taking in the villages of Catterton, Healaugh and Wighill. There will be a drink station out on the course around the 5 mile mark with both bottled water and cups available
Race HQ will be at The Barn on St Josephs Street – where there will be refreshments, toilets and a secure bag storage area. The race start is right outside Race HQ on St Josephs Street.
Custom Tad 10 medals will be handed out as well as some tasty treats to all the finishers plus big cash prizes for male and female age groups – and anyone breaking the course record.
Last year over £750 worth of prizes were dished out… and if 1000 runners enter this year the event will be increasing the prize list to £1000 for 2020!
Here are the Current Course Records that are yet to be beaten:
Male – Graham Rush (2017) – 52:58
Female – Caroline Lambert (2019) – 57:40
